Abstract:
With deposition potential, deposition time, deposition temperature were 2.5V, 2h, 353.15K, pure copper as cathode, graphite sheet as anode. 5% NaOH as additive in EG-ZnCl2-MgCl2 system were successfully prepared the Zn-Mg alloy, the cyclic voltammetry test results of EG-ZnCl2-MgCl2-NaOH system show that: the reduction peak of Mg2 be seen near the potential of -2.5V, depositing Zn-Mg alloy is a step by step process. The first occurrence is the reduction of Zn, after is Zn-Mg. Process of Zn-Mg alloy deposition is an irreversible process, its performance in the cyclic voltammograms for reduction peak area ratio of the oxidation peak is much larger. The coating of the photoelectron spectrum test results showed that: the existing form of magnesium were Mg and MgO; the form of zinc in metal. XRD results showed that: Mg to replace part of Zn formed a replacement of amorphous solid solution.
