| Abstract: |
| N-Hexadecyltrimethylammon (HTMAC) was used to be as organic modifier, N-Hexadecyltrimethylammon modified benonite (HTMAC-Bent) was prepared and was exploited to adsorbed hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) in aqueous solution. Reaction time, initial pH value, dosage, initial concentration, temperature and so on were investigated, which is influent on adsorption of Cr(VI) in aqueous solution using HTMAC-Bent. The results showed that adsorption of Cr(VI) in aqueous solution using HTMAC-Bent has a good adaptability with a wide range of pH value, removal efficiency is more than 90%. Initial concentration and dosage had a significant influence on adsorption process. |
