Abstract:
With regard to high fluoride and chlorine content of second-rate zinc oxide powder, first remove most fluoride and chlorine of raw material by caustic wash process, the removal rate of fluoride and chlorine reaches 50.21% and 92.98%. Then, adopt two-stage sulfuric acid leaching to recovers zinc and indium from second-rate zinc oxide powder which was washed by soda, the leaching rate of zinc and indium were 92.7% and 75.8%. When neutralization for precipitating indium to single-stage leachate, got the indium residue grade was 6775g/t, indium recovery rate was 98.5%. The experimental result was satisfactory, and technology was feasible.
