Abstract:
The treatment of indium-bearing zinc residue by hot-acid leaching was studied. By dissolving zinc ferrite, Fe3 was released. The concentration of Fe3 and redox potential of solution was increased with increasing reaction time. The high Fe3 concentration and redox potential of solution were adverse to the dissolution of zinc ferrite. The leaching behavior of zinc and indium was analyzed during the hot-acid leaching. The leaching rate of zinc and indium were 96.53% and 94.85%, respectively, by a two-stage adverse current leaching. The optimum parameters of the second stage that temperature of 90℃, liquid-to-solid ratio of 10ml/g and time of 4h; The optimum parameters of the second stage that initial sulfuric concentration of 160g/L, temperature of 90℃, liquid-to-solid ratio of 10ml/g and time of 4h.
