Abstract:
The process mineralogy of sea-floor hydrothermal sulfides from TVG21 routes was carried out. The Main valuable metallic element is Cu in the sample, and copper minerals are mainly chalcanthite, followed by cubanite, atacamite and traces of chalcopyrite, etc.; Other minerals are mainly pyrite and marcasite, followed by ferropallidite and melanterite, otherwise very small amounts of limonite, anhydrite, quartz and elemental sulfur, etc. The research results provide the basic and theoretical basis for effective recovery and utilization of sea-floor hydrothermal sulfides.
