Abstract:
In this paper, through the experimental study on settlement of a laterite ore, we looked at the effect of pulp concentration, temperature and add the flocculant settling performance of laterite ore.The results showed that under the condition of natural sedimentation when the slurry concentration is larger, the settling velocity is slower, temperature has a promoting effect on the pulp settling; the slurry concentration and temperature have influence on the sedimentation effect of flocculant, when the concentration of 5-7%, temperature of 60 centigrade , can get the best flocculant sedimentation effect; the optimum flocculant was 665s, the best dosage was 60-80g/t.
