Abstract:
      Damingcao copper deposit is located in the Yuanjiang copper ore belt, which characterized by low-grade, great variation of mineral granularity and complex embedded characteristic. Through the research of ore structure and texture, mineral chemical composition, phase analysis and process comparison of collector, the finally preferential flotation process was determined. These influence factors of flotation index are as follows: the grinding fineness 70% below 76μm,the dosage of sodium sulphide being 200g/t as activator, the dosage of combination collectors of butyl xanthate and ammonium butyl aerofloat being 150g/t and 100g/t, the other combination collectors of amyl xanthate and ammonium butyl aerofloat being 185g/t and 65g/t. In addition, the dosage of No.2 pine oil being 35g/t as frother. According to these closed-circuit test with twice cleaning and twice scavenging, the result showed that the cooper grade of copper concentrate grading being 18.05%, and the sulphur concentrate assaying 73.39%.
