| Abstract: |
| This paper introduces some production practices for improving the capacity of Ф8.53 m×3.96 m SAG mill in Dongguashan Copper Mine, such as increasing the screen pore area of discharge, the adding ball diameter and filling ratio. On the other hand, the verification tests of were completed, and the experimental results shown that: it is satisfied the production completely requirement under the condition of an existing SAG mill, grinding classification process and technical conditions. Finally, something optimizing practical about structure and installation method of liner were introduced and expounded, the adding steel ball diameter was decreased from 200 mm to 150 mm, the service life of the cylinder months was extend from 3.5 months to 5.5 months and the steel consumption was down 25% after shell liner be optimized, which significantly lowering the cost of production and reducing noise from SAG mill to some extent. |
