| Abstract: |
| Targeted at high ferrous sedimentary bauxite in Yunnan province, we carried out mineral processing research work. Bauxite ore Al2O3 grade is only 45.58%, SiO2 grade is 8.73%, total Fe 19.78%, A/S is 5.22. In this experiment, based on mineral composition and chemical analysis, the key study is the magnetic separation for removing ferrous and direct flotation of the diaspore minerals to increase A/S. This paper gets the following figures from the experiment: Al2O3 grade in concentrate is 55.38%, Al2O3 recovery rate reaches 69.17%, total Fe 10.73%, A/S is 9.87. The research results of this paper show that, high ferrous sedimentary bauxite can remove ferrous up aluminum down silicon by magnetic separation- flotation process. |
