Abstract:
Targeted at accumulative bauxite in Hongsheke, Yunnan province, we carried out process mineralogy research work. Through multi-element analysis, XRD, SEM, MLA and other measurements, the detailed process mineralogical studies on the accumulative bauxite were carried out identify the chemical composition, mineral composition, grain size distribution, dissemination and liberation characteristics of the ore. The results showed that mainly objective minerals are boehmite, diaspore and gibbsite, mainly gangue mineral is kaolinite, the other metallic minerals are hematite, limonite and anatase. The results can provide the theoretical basic for reasonable exploitation of the bauxite.
