| Abstract: |
| This article introduced the pollution of red mud in a alumina plant and sulfur in the atmosphere, and were elaborated the research status of dry and wet desulfurization by red mud, as well as research progress on the mechanism of flue gas desulfurization with red mud. Red mud with reduced soda content after absorbing sulfur-containing flue gas can be comprehensive utilization easily, achieving the purposes of waste control by waste, and finally pointed out the future direction of the red mud desulfurization research and development prospects. |
