Abstract:
      The types, emission process and pollution characteristics of mercury containing waste in a lead smelting industry were analysed by SEM and X ray. The results show that the major mercury containing waste were slag, dust, acidSmud in the lead smelting industry, and the higher risk mercury containing waste was acidSmud, and its main pollutants were HgO, HgCl2and Hg.
