| Abstract: |
| Red mud, which has a large output ,is one of the important and valuable secondary resurces. It contains many valuable metals, like Fe,Ti and Sc,etc. The recovering of valuable metals from red mud seems particularly important ,especially when metal resource is increasingly exhausted. This paper not only reviewes the current treatment methods for red mud briefly and makes an exhaustive introduction about comprehensive utilization of the main valuable metals contained in the red mud, but points out the key reason why there is no breakthrough of the technology for comprehensive recovery.Meanwhile, the prospest on the development of synthetic recycling technology is brought out. |
