Abstract:
The method of leaching lead from material bearing lead sulphate using sodium chloride solution is advanced. The basic principle of leaching lead is introduced. Several important factors that may affect the leaching ratio of lead are examined, namely leaching temperature, time, concentration of sodium chloride, amount of chlorhydric acid and ratio of liquid to solid. Results indicate that the leaching ratio of lead is over 93 % using this method. The optimal experimental parameters are: leaching temperature of 90℃, time of 9 h , concentration of sodium chloride of over 250 g/L, amount of chlorhydric acid of 100mL per 100g material, and ratio of liquid to solid of (16~18):1.
