Abstract:
The drying characteristic of sulfate titanium slag was studied by hot-air drying and microwave drying respectively. The influence of the power and sample mass on the average drying rate was obtained in the process of microwave drying, and compared with the hot-air drying process. The results show that in hot-air drying, the average drying rate increased with increasing temperature and decreased with increasing sample mass. In the microwave drying, the average drying rate increased with both microwave power and sample mass, and the average drying rate of sulfate titanium slag by microwave drying higher than the hot-air drying. In general, for drying sulfate titanium slag, microwave has a higher drying rate and drying depth than the hot-air drying method, and microwave drying has obvious advantages in energy saving.
