Abstract:
A method for determination of trace phosphorus in fluorine waste water by differential pulse stripping voltammetry is established. In acid solution containing ascorbic acid, phosphorus reacts with molybdate to form an phospho-molybdic heteropolyacid, and then restored to form a blue complex. The blue complex has a highly sensitive and highly selective reduction wave appeares at -1.04V in NH3-NH4Cl buffer solution (pH=10). The results show that the derivative wave height is liner-relations to phosphorus concerntration in the range of 3μg/L~50μg/L. The limit of determination was achieved 0.3072ug/L, and the relative standard deviation of this method is less than 5%. Recoveries ranging from 98.27% to 104.14% by using a standard addition recovery test. The method is sensitive, simple, fast and suitable for the determination of trace phosphorus in fluorine waste water.
