| Abstract: |
| She-wushan gold mine has been exploited for more than 30 years, and the mining activities have caused certain pollution to the surrounding water area. Aimed at the judgement of the water environmental quality around the mine, the paper investigated species composition and species diversity of macrofauna, and the water quality was evaluated based on the diversity indexes. The results showed that total 12 macrofauna species were identified, and the main dominant species were mollusks. All the Shannon-Weaver index and the Simpson index of macrofauna were lesser than 3. The water envrionment quality was slightly or middle polluted assessed using the indexes, and it showed a good trend along the waterway. |
