Abstract:
      In the process of preparing the emulsion explosive’s water phase material by using ammonium nitrate solution, real-time and fast on-line measurement of concentration of ammonium nitrate solution is needed. Mass flowmeter has the function of measuring liquid density and temperature at the same time. By using the density-temperature correlation method, real-time concentration of ammonium nitrate solution is calculated by the controller according to the property data of ammonium nitrate solution. The purpose of rapid and accurate preparation of water phase material was realized. The practicability of this method is proved by the practical operation of the blending process.
