| Abstract: |
| Thiosulfate is the most promising system to replace the toxic cyanide for gold leaching. Ammonia and copper ammonia ion play major role in the process of gold leaching and recovery from pregnant solution. The function of ammonia and the copper ammonia complex ion are reviewed in this paper. |
