| Abstract: |
| The amphibolite-type rutile ore in Southern Shaanxi contains 3.06% TiO2, and the dolomite, chlorite as well as quartz et al are the main gangue minerals. It is very difficult to beneficiate due to the fine particle size of valuable mineral and the complex embedded relationship. A rutile concentrate with TiO2 grade of 90.56% and recovery of 50.24% can be obtained using a joint beneficiation process, namely discarding tailings by shaker-rough concentrate regrinding-flotation-acid washing -desulfurizationSflotation, and the contents of impurities such as S, P, TFe are 0.025%, 0.021%, 0.56%, respectively. The concentrate meet the GradeⅡstandards of natural rutile concentrate and this study provides some technical reference for exploiting the rutile source in Southern Shaanxi. |
