Abstract:
the process mineralogy of a oxidized copper mine in Xinjiang has been studied. The oxidation ratio of the mine is 97.52%, and the copper oxide minerals are mainly malachite, pseudomalachite and silicon malachite. Some malachite and pseudo Malachite crystals are pure and have good floatability, and they are recovered by flotation. Part of the copper oxideSores contains iron or is closely bound with iron ore, and another copper containing limonite is recovered by magnetic separation process.SIn the end,S the process of floatation and magnetic separation was determined, When the copper grade of ore was 1.27%, the copper concentrate containing copper 18.83% and the copper recovery rate 90.36%.
