Abstract:
      This paper based on MCU Atmega16A independently designed a set of acoustic emission monitoring system, the whole process completed the acquisition of hardware, monitoring and analysis of software design, data collection procedures in the preparation, layout of pipeline in system design and system debugging. This design some advantages such as it’s high sensitivity, low power consumption, reliable signal transmission, real-time, remote and diversified monitoring data, the latter part of other types of monitoring data (stress, displacement, toxic and harmful gases and so on) can be extended, and low system cost. The energy acoustic emission analysis results showed that there are two large acoustic emission rate which can correspond well with the two large roof fall accident of some scope of monitoring. It is hoped that the application of this system can provide technical support for the monitoring and early warning of ground pressure activity in the process of underground mining.
