| Abstract: |
| A type of iron ore is mainly composed of magnetite, pyrite and pyrrhotite. Because of the influence of pyrite and pyrrhotite, it is difficult to obtain grade-qualified iron concentrate with the problem of high sulfur content if treated by single magnetic separation. Multi-scheme experiments were conducted based on investigation properties of magnetite, pyrite and pyrrhotite in this paper. The results indicated that both of the following two combined processing flowsheets are not only suitable for this type of iron ore, but technical supporting for the other iron ore with the same type. Flowsheet 1: Discarding tailings by magnetic separation after rough grinding- regrinding the rough concentrate of magnetic separation and then desulphurization by flotation- the flotation tailings cleaned by magnetic separation. Flowsheet 2: Discarding tailings by magnetic pulley after crushing- regrinding the rough concentrate of magnetic separation and then desulphurization by flotation- the flotation tailings cleaned by magnetic separation. |
