| Abstract: |
| Explored the microwave heating process for direct reduction of chromite, to explore the new technology of production of carbon ferrochrome. Select the reduction temperature, reduction time, the amount of reducing agent as variable, by single factor test, finding the optimum conditions. The results showed that under the conditions: reduction temperature of 1450 ℃, reducing time 120min, the reducing agent amount of 20% of the conditions, get the reduction product with chromium content of 46.38%. The experiment shows that the microwave heating process for direct reduction of chromite is feasible, it pointed out that a new ways of green and cleaning for carbon ferrochrome production. |
