| Abstract: |
| The beneficiation wastewater in a pyrite mine of Guangdong province with a high COD up to 220mg/L, by using acid modified fly ash as a catalyst for heterogeneous Fenton oxidation to treat this wastewater. The experimental results show that when pH at 4, modified fly ash dosage was 20g/L, Fe2 dosage was 1.57mmol/L, H2O2 dosage was 9.43mmol/L, reaction time was 40min, the removal rate of COD in wastewater can reach above 92%, it achieved a good degradation effect. This method can improve the utilization of H2O2 and the reaction time is shorter. It is an effective treatment method for the beneficiation wastewater. |
