| Abstract: |
| A process of leaching with hydrochloric acid and Ferric chloride hexahydrate was adopted to separate copper and bismuth from Bismuth-bearing copper concentrate. Results showed that `the optimal parameters for separating copper and bismuth are HCl 2mol/L,FeCl3.6H2O 320g/kg ore,liquid-to-solid ratio 3:1,temperature 90℃,retention time 3h. The leaching recovery of bismuth is greater than 95%,the content of bismuth is from 2.97% to 0.2% in copper concentrate in line with the industry standard. Neutralization test was conducted with leach liquor to get bismuth oxychloride product which contain bismuth is more than 65%. |
