| Abstract: |
| According to the current situation that the existing lime neutralization method for cadmium and zinc bearing mine water treatment of a mine in Fujian could not reach the standard, an advanced treatment process was carried out. Lime neutralization, lime neutralization-sulfide precipitation and coagulation-lime neutralization industrial experiments were conducted. The results indicated that the effect of coagulation-lime neutralization treatment was the best, in which only 0.005 mg/L and 0.1 mg/L of cadmium and zinc in the effluent, respectively, both of the removal rate was up to 99.40% and cost of 2.15 yuan per ton, The results show that the effect of coagulation lime neutralization treatment is better. The concentration of Cd and Zn in external drainage is less than 0.005 mg/L and 0.1 mg/L respectively, the removal rate is more than 99.40%, and the cost of tonnes water treatment is 2.15 yuan, and the reduction of Cd and Zn can be realized without increasing the treatment cost. This new process uses two kinds of waste water deal with each other containing good economic and environmental benefits. |
