| Abstract: |
| the Sulfur-xanthate flotation (SXF) and the sulfide-amine flotation (SAF) were used to recover lead and zinc from the lead-zinc oxide ore, and the good target of flotation is obtained. Based on the characteristies of the close association of Cerussite , Smithsonite and limonite (goethite) and high oxidation rate in a lead-zinc oxide ore. Cerussite and galena were floated selectively using sodium humate and Na2SiO3 as combined depressant for slime and isobutyl xanthate as Collector for Cerussite and galena in the lead-flotation phase. Smithsonite was floated selectively using ZnSO4 as modifier, laurylamine as collector and Na2S as curing agent in the zinc-flotation phase.it was a lead concentrate assaying 66.10% Pb with88.29% recovery and a zinc concentrate assaying 19.41%Zn with 87.09% recovery that was achieved from the lead-zinc oxide ore in semi-closed circuit tests. |
