Abstract:
The Pb grade of a Pb-Zn-Ag-S complex sulfide ore from Yunnan Province is 2.62%, with 0.44% Zn, 40.24 g/t Ag and 10.54% S, respectively. This ore has a complicated distribution for components with silver associated. The lead-sulfur preferential floatation is determined as a separation flowsheet for this ore. The results indicated that the lead grade and recovery of lead concentrate were 40.93% and 72.22%, respectively, and the silver was also concentrated in the concentrate at 829.21 g/t; the sulfur grade and recovery of sulfur concentrate were 31.45% and 84.36%, respectively. This experimental study provides a reference for the effective separation of Low-grade lead-zinc resources. Keywords: Lead-zinc sulfide ore, flotation, silver recovery
