| Abstract: |
| The aluminium oxide and iron oxide powder were obtained through precipitation, alkali dissolution, carbonation, and calcination using the acidic leaching solution of bauxite as raw materials. The optimum technological conditions of precipitation, alkali dissolution, and carbonation were investigated. The optimum technological conditions of precipitation , which could guarantee the precipitation rate of Al and Femore than 99% was: keeping pH value 5.0, precipitation temperature as 50°C for 50 min. The dissolving rate of Al99.42% and removing rate of Fe 99.63% under the optimum technological conditions of alkali dissolution: a alkali dissolving temperature 80°C, a pH value 14 and a dissolving time 30 min. The optimum technological conditions of carbonation, which could guarantee the precipitation rate of Al 98.69% was: keeping pH value 9.0, carbonating temperature as 40°C and CO2 flow rate 6 mL/min. The product were characterized by chemical component analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning election microscope (SEM). The crystal form of the product were fine, the particles were homogeneous, and chemical component was accorded with the national standard. |
