Abstract:
Aiming at low grade laterite nickel ore, acid leaching is usually used to smelt minerals. In the acidic leaching pulp of laterite nickel ore, the separation of solid and liquid is difficult due to the small particle size. To solve the problem of long separation time and low efficiency of solid liquid separation of laterite nickel ore after acid leaching, the leaching solution was treated by the combination of cationic polyacrylamide and polymeric ferric sulfate. The sedimentation rate of the leaching solution was increased by 25.5 times, the vacuum pumping time was shortened by 60%, the water content of the filter cake was reduced by 10%, and the difficulty of the subsequent process was reduced. This experiment provides an effective solution for solid-liquid separation of suspension, which has great guiding significance for practical engineering application.
