| Abstract: |
| In this paper, the physical and mechanical properties of tailings are analyzed by related physical and mechanical experiments, and the saturation line of tailings dam under rainfall is calculated and analyzed by Geo-studio finite element software; the stability of tailings dam under rainfall is analyzed by Slide software, simplified Bishop method and Swedish method in limit equilibrium method. The results show that the safety factor of tailings dam can meet the requirements of the code under normal operation, flood operation and saturated operation. The calculated stability sliding surfaces are mostly deep sliding surfaces passing through the bottom of the dam, and the scope of the sliding surface is large. |
