| Abstract: |
| The spinel lithium titanate has become one of promising anode materials for its excellent cycling stability, high rate capability, and reliable safety performance compared with graphite anode. However, the poor conductivity, serious polarization, and low theoretical specific capacity impede its commercial application. The synthesis methods, principle, modified technologies and current research states of lithium titanate were reviewed. The doping and coating of metal element, morphology design and complex modification have been considered as effective ways to enhance electronic conductivity and improve the electrochemistry properties, and the existing problems and the further research and development are proposed. |
