| Abstract: |
| Copper sulphide minerals are major copper-bearing minerals in the Chambishi copper mine. Due to changes in the nature of ore deposits, the flotation index of recovering copper become worse. Aiming at this problem, flotation experiments were conducted to improve and optimize the copper recovery of copper sulfide ore from Chambisch copper mine. A closed-circuit flotation flowsheet with one roughing, three cleaning and two scavenging was adopted to verify the optimum flotation reagent regime. The results show that the flotation effect of xanthate collectors is the best, in which isopropyl xanthate has a relative stronger selectivity and butyl xanthate presented a better collecting ability. The flotation index of close-circuit test was achieved under the optimum conditions: CaO of 600 g/t, butyl xanthate (BuX) of 40 g/t and 2# oil of 20 g/t. The copper grade of flotation concentrate is 27.51%, and the copper recovery is 90.65%, which proved that the flotation reagents optimized process can obtain better recovery effect. |
