| Abstract: |
| Asbestos tailings as raw material, using acid leaching, neutralization, crystallization, oxidation and iron removal, vulcanization to precipitate nickel and acid leaching residue by alkali leaching, control of sulfuric acid concentration to precipitate SiO2 and other processes to separate and extract magnesium, iron, nickel and silicon from asbestos tailings, then magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, basic magnesium carbonate, iron oxide series industrial pigments, high dispersion silica for tires and nickel concentrate were produced. Main recovery rate of pilot products: SiO2 96.68%, NiO 82.09%, MgO ≥95%, Fe ≥97%. Average output rate (processing 1000kg tailings meter): magnesium sulfate heptahydrate 730kg, basic magnesium carbonate 224kg, high dispersion silica for tires 299kg, iron oxide red 65.7kg and nickel concentrate 9.44kg. The profit for each 1000kg of asbestos tailings is more than 1000 yuan. |
