Abstract:
Fragmentation size, an important factor of blasting effect evaluation, has an extremely important impact on the subsequent mining process such as shovel loading. Based on the requirement of fragmentation size optimization of Fankou Lead-zinc Mine, three blast trials with different charging structure design were carried out, and the fragmentation size were correspondly analyzed based on the fractal theory. The obtained results show that the fractal dimension and fragmentation size are positively correlated, and the first charging structure design is the optimal design with the moderate fragmentation size in the blasted muck pile. The research conclusions can provide guidance of the blasting process optimization of Fankou Lead-zinc Mine and technical reference for the similar mines.
