Abstract:
By single mineral flotation experiment, the variation rules of the cumulative recovery of dolomite of three different sizes with different concentration of collector LA and different rotating speed at solution pH=4.0 were studied. The experimental results showed that the increase of rotation speed and concentration of LA had an important effect on the recovery of coarse size dolomite, but it had little effect on the recovery of intermediate size dolomite, but it could significantly shorten the flotation balance time. Under the experimental conditions, the accumulative recovery of intermediate size dolomite was up to 99.00%. Four classical kinetic models were used to fit the test data. The fitting results showed that the flotation process of dolomite was more in line with the first-order kinetic model. The goodness of fit R2 under different rotation speed and concentration of LA were all greater than 0.96.
