Abstract:
Synergistic tests of high density sludge process and auxiliary settlement with gold mine carbon leaching process tailings method in treatment of acid mine drainage containing cyanide and copper in a mine were carried out. The selection and dosage of flocculant, the reflux of sediment, and the addition effects of increasing the solid content by addition of gold mine tailings were conducted. The results show that within the solid content of the system at 1~2%, when the solid content of the system increases from 1% to 2% (all underflow is refluxed), the total copper concentration of the supernatant decreases from 0.227 mg/L to 0.162 mg/L after flocculation for half an hour; while the system contains 2% solid content (including 1.5% reflux and the remaining 0.5% replenished by adding carbon leaching process tailings), the total copper concentration of the supernatant is 0.150 mg/L after flocculation for half an hour. The overall effect is the best when solid content of the system is 2% (including 1.5% reflux and 0.5% replenished by carbon leaching process tailings), and flocculant DRYFLOC23E is chosen at 2mg/L, resulting in total copper concentration stably meeting discharge standard requirements with best flocculation sedimentation.
