| Abstract: |
| In the flotation process of the Tongkuangyu chalcopyrite ore, it was found that the lime dosage and the flotation slurry concentration were the two main factors that influence the flotation index. In order to decrease the grade of the tailings and increase the concentrate recovery, the paper studied the particle size distribution and the dissociation of the chalcopyrite in the concentrate and the tailings under different lime dosage and slurry concentration using MLA method. It was found that the quartz could be well depressed and the flotation concentrate grade could be increased when the lime dosage was controlled in the range of 1.6-1.8kg/t. It was also found that the tailings’ grade could be decreased when the flotation slurry concentration was lifted from 35% to 40%. |
