| Abstract: |
| The preparation of CNTs/Pb composite anodes by powder metallurgy was studied. The effects of carbon nanotube concentration, sintering atmosphere and pressing pressure on the electrochemical performance of composite anodes for zinc electrowinning were discussed. The research shows that the electrocatalytic activity of the composite anode first increases and then decreases with the increase of the content of carbon nanotubes in the electrolyte. the electrochemical performance of the anode showed a trend of first increases and then decreases with the increase of pressing pressure, under the optimal process conditions of forming pressure 410 MPa and 1 g/L CNTs under vacuum sintering atmosphere, The prepared CNTs/Pb composite anode has an anode potential stable at 1.4468 V in a current density of 500 A/m2, which is 59.1 mV lower than that of a conventional lead-silver anode, which is 173.2 mV lower than that of a conventional pure lead anode. |
