Abstract:
mill plant ore treatment plant of Xianrenqiao Mining Co., Ltd. manages the copper-zinc-sulfur-iron complex polymetallic ore using Cu-preferential flotation-Zn-S mixed flotation then separation-Fe magnetic separation process. The mill plant faced many problems, including low separation efficiency in Cu-recovery course, the production of an accepted Zn-concentration being difficulty, and the negative effect of high alkalinity backwater. Facing these challenges, the mill plant has finished tasks of the partial modification of the flowage structure of Cu-recovery operation as well as an optimization of reagent system, followed by reducing the lime use of the Zn-S separation, and the directional use of high pH backwater in recent years. Results of the reformation indicate that, the enhancement of Cu-Zn separation leads to output qualified Cu concentration which could be traded well when Zn-containing percentage lower than 6%, and the improvement in the stability of Zn-S separation course related to the coupled use of BK526 and lime, and the regulated use of high pH backwater steadily generates Zn-concentration with a zinc grade higher than 40%. The treatment of Cu-Zn-S-Fe-bearing polymetallic ore in the mill plant tends to be much more efficiency through reform.
