Abstract:
The hematite precipitation process for removing iron is an effective way to realize high efficient separation of zinc and iron in hydrometallurgical zinc process. This study considered the oxidation hydrolysis precipitation behavior of ferrous sulfate during hematite precipitation for iron removal. Studied the precipitation characteristics and phase characterization of the precipitation product and the effect of time, acidity, temperature, sulfate concentration and the amount of return precipitates, which as seed crystal, on hematite precipitation process for removing iron.
