| Abstract: |
| The thermodynamic model of the dissolution of MgCO3 in glycinate aqueous solution (Gly--H2O system) was constructed according to the thermodynamic equilibrium equations in the system. Thermodynamic results of total concentration of Mg2+, free concentration of Mg2+, free concentration of Gly-, free concentration of CO32-, species distribution of Mg2+ and species distribution of Gly- were investigated respectively in the system at 298K. It is found that, MgCO3 can be dissolved in acidic Gly--H2O system for acid leaching by aminoacetic acid. MgCO3 cannot be dissolved in alkaline Gly--H2O system for complex-leaching by Gly-, because of the coordination ability of Gly- with Mg2+ is very weak. |
