Abstract:
Zinc concentrate is accompanied by abundant precious metals, dilute metals and other non-ferrous metals. China consumes about 10.7 million T of zinc concentrate annually. It contains about the amount of valence metal resources: copper 42800t, cadmium 32800t, cobalt 321t, nickel 214t, gallium 963t, indium 3210t, thallium 214t, germanium 963t, tin 5350t, lead 96300t, antimony 6420t, antimony 1070t, silver 856t, gold 1.07t, The total value of associated metal resources reached more than 20 billion yuan. This paper briefly describes the main technological features of Zinc smelting in China, and points out that although great achievements have been made in the recovery and utilization of zinc and its associated valuable metals in zinc concentrates in China, however, due to the existence of valuable elements gallium, indium, thallium, Germanium, tin, antimony, bismuth, aluminium, copper, silver, gold, lead, zinc, etc. And low content of valuable elements can not be enriched recycling problem, resulting in huge economic losses, and there is the risk of environmental pollution. The Future Research and Development Direction of zinc smelting technology is the high-temperature and high-acid leaching of dilute metals in Foshan
