Abstract:
Using zinc powder and old copper and cadmium residue as raw materials, using the principle of removing chlorine from copper slag to remove chlorine in the process system of electric zinc, and the effect of process parameters on chlorine removal rate was studied. The results show: The copper slag was dechlorinated in the electric zinc process by using copper sulfate solution and zinc powder replacement, and the removal rate of chlorine was 77% ~ 81%, but the temperature doesn't matter much. Copper ions are provided by the long-established cu-cd residue lotion, when zinc powder displaces copper ions to produce active copper powder for chlorine removal of copper slag, the removal rate of chlorine increases with the increase of n(Cu)T/n(Cl-) ratio. When n(Cu)T/n(Cl-) increases from 4:1 to 12:1,The removal rate of chlorine increased from 72.66% to 87.98%.The copper has lost its activity of reacting with copper ions and chloride ions to form cuprous chloride. Therefore, by adjusting temperature, PH, n(Cu)T/n(Cl-) ratio, etc., the chlorine ions in the solution cannot be effectively removed.
