Abstract:
LiFePO4 is the main component of waste lithium iron phosphate cathode. For the recovery of valuable metals in the waste lithium iron phosphate cathode, the crushed waste lithium iron phosphate cathode is used as the research object to study the leaching behavior under the action of sulfuric acid. The effects of initial sulfuric acid concentration, liquid-solid ratio, reaction time, and reaction temperature on the leaching effect were investigated. The experimental results showed that under the optimal reaction conditions, the leaching rate of Li and Fe reached 98%, and the valuable metal Li entered the leaching solution, which realized the recovery of valuable metals from the waste lithium iron phosphate cathode.
