| Abstract: |
| The composition analysis results of a uranium mine wastewater in China showed that the main component of wastewater was uranium. Ion-exchange resin was used as an adsorbent. The conditions were tested including the selection of ion exchange resin, resin adsorption, elution and uranium precipitation and and other conditions. The experiments results showed that the process of treating uranium in the uranium mine wastewater with ion exchange resin is feasible, the concentration of uranium after treatment was ≤0.3 mg·L-1, and uranium was recycled. Uranium was absorbed with 408(II) resin and desorbed by 1M NaCl + 5g·L-1 NaHCO3. The elution effect was good. The saturation adsorption capacity of uranium reached 18 mgU·mL-1R, the peak concentration of uranium in pregnant eluant was >20g·L-1, the residual capacity of depleted resin was <0.5mg U·mL-1 R, and the precipitated "111" product may meet the requirement of the national standard. |
