| Abstract: |
| SRed mud is solid waste discharged from the industrial production process of bauxite extraction alumina. With the rapid development of the aluminum industry, a large amount of red mud has accumulated and accumulated serious pollution to the natural ecological environment. The difference in the production process of the aluminum industry will produce different types of red mud, but all contain various valuable metals such as titanium, tantalum, iron, aluminum, etc., which is a secondary mineral resource that can be utilized. In recent years, the market demand for titanium has gradually increased, and the recovery of titanium dioxide in red mud is one of its sources. In this regard, the extraction methods and latest research progress of titanium dioxide in red mud at home and abroad in recent years are summarized in detail, and the process characteristics and principles of acid leaching, roasting-acid leaching and combined method for recovery of titanium are accurately analyzed, which is an efficient synthesis of red mud in China. Use to explore a new green, economic and reasonable process. |
