Abstract:
An experimental study on the reduction of magnesium-silicon content in knelson heavy separation concentrate was carried out by means of gravity separation process, flotation process and gravity separation - flotation process。Through the research and analysis, it is determined that the flotation process is a more economical and reasonable scheme for reducing magnesium-silicon in knelson concentrate. The concentrate nickel、copper grade are 4.79%、2.08%. The recovery of nickel and copper are 87.72%、88.78%. The gold、platinum grade in the flotation concentrate are 110.77g/t、618.07g/t, the recovery are 99.04%、98.82%. The content of MgO、SiO2 in flotation concentrate were 4.65%、8.12%.
