| Abstract: |
| Commercial instruments of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) are usually based on Frequency Response Analyzer with sine signal. A fast measurement of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was provided through white noise signal and wavelet transform and simulation experiments was carried out with the software of Simulink. The effect of the center frequency, sampling rates and time were optimized in terms of the equivalent circuit of (RC)(RC). With impedance range from 0.05Hz to 20000 Hz, the measuring relative error of elements of the equivalent circuit were less than 0.5% and the elapsed time was 85s. At the equivalent circuits of both proton exchange membrane fuel cell and pitting corrosion of passivated metal, the approach could be well applied with the fitting error less than 0.2%. EIS can be obtained fast and directly acquired from the white noise signal of the electrochemical process to achieve an in-site and real-time monitoring at low cost. |
